Most of us here have forgotten smiling. Who has the time to care and share? We have got so much lost in the un-necessities and urgencies of life that the truly important values have been forgotten. Our mental state is clearly reflected on our faces. Why has this happened? Do we want to get back to the state of childlike carefree-ness and abandon? Do we have time to reflect and take corrective actions? Do we understand that the best changes about life are internal changes? Let us make one thing very clear to ourselves - if we don't do something about our minds now, if we are not proactively trying to lift it out of its current state, it will always remain like that. In reality, our minds are very chaotic. We have such strong involvement in our turbulent minds that hardly anybody is even aware of this state. Most of us here are living in ceaseless dreaming.

 

The cause of turbulence
Most of the agitations of the mind are due to wrong beliefs and conditionings. People are so strongly involved in their beliefs that it is extremely difficult for them to understand that these are merely painful notions and detaching from them can lead to peace and happiness. Mental formations are understood to be absolute reality! Illusions are taken to be truths infallible!

 


How to recognize that your mind is turbulent



These are some of the most common signs of turbulence:

 

  • Impulsiveness: You don't have patience and you want it quick.

  • Anger: You don't tolerate the difference of opinion. You think that you are always right.

  • Dejection: You get unhappy when there are some blocks in the fulfillment of your desires.

  • Criticism: You like it when others are seen to have faults.

  • Interference: You like poking your nose in others' business.

  • Superiority: You feel that you are the best and you like saying it also.

  • Inferiority: You have low self esteem and you tend to cringe in front of others.

  • Procrastination: You don't like facing problems head on. You prefer postponing.

  • Fear: You are scared of the future, or certain situations, or people.

  • Yelling: You cannot tolerate people around you and you take them for granted.

  • Revenge: Even if you don't say it, you like when somebody you don't like gets hurt in some manner.
  • Hatred: You cannot forgive. You don't feel compassion for some people.

  • Frustration, Depression, Lying, Adultery, Showing Off etc. are some other problems showing that you mind is very restless.


 

 

What happens when the mind is restless

ü Unfulfilled and Unhappy state of being: You don't like anything. You are living with no purpose and there is nothing to look forward to.


ü Boredom: You take recourse to TV, Gossipping, Futile wandering so that you don't have to face yourself.


ü Bad relationships: Your friends and family don't like your behaviour, even if they are tell you on face.


ü Stunted financial and career growth: Your mind does not remain free and creative enough to compete in this beautiful world.


ü Anxiety attacks or depression: You don't understand the inevitability of problems are always scared to face them.


ü Low Self Esteem: You don't like yourself and are able to understand why.

It is not only the suffering, but even the apparently harmless agitations of mind have their roots in illusory conditionings. Objectives of Z Meditation Online Courses

Five Principles of Z Meditation

It is very important that the principles of any mind work are clear and rational. These are the principles of Z Meditation that have been used to device Deep Inquiry, Radiant Mantras and the entire retreat structure:

 

No proof, No Belief

All belief should be scientifically substantiated. One should be able to experience one’s beliefs.

No Concepts, No Peace

There is zero possibility of suppressing the turbulence of the mind by mechanical means. For lasting peace, the concepts must be understood clearly.

No Mother-tongue, No Understanding

One thinks best in one’s own language. Without deep thinking, one cannot integrate the knowledge with one’s life.

No Tuning, No Music

Meditation does not mean torturing the body or the mind. It is an enjoyable and radiant way to clear the mind of turmoil and see things in the Truth-Light. The middle path is the best path. If you are into self affliction, you cannot think clearly. Without clear thinking, you cannot detach from your age-old conditionings.

No Integration, No Dance

Meditation is a way of life and not just a routine. If the rest of the day is not lived in conformity with what one practices in one’s meditation, one cannot make progress just by doing some monotonous motorized exercises.

Two levels of Z Meditation Online Course

Z Meditation Online Course is divided in two levels. Once you join, you will have to commit two weeks of your time for the first level of learning. In this first level, you get all the essential theoretical knowledge about your mind and you learn to practice the Six Questions of Deep Inquiry. These six questions root out all your mental formations, habit patterns, attachments and conditionings in a systematic way.

The second level of learning Z Meditation can be done only after shining in the first one. In the second level, the learning deepens further and you study the Six Radiant Mantras. These Mantras are Truth Statements that invoke a state of unconditioned joy and love in your heart. You come to experience the wholeness of the moment. You learn and practice how to integrate your life with the marvel and bliss of the moment.

These six mantras represent the essence of spiritual knowledge of the world.

 

 


Method of study

 

There is a Method of Study of the Z Meditation Online Course:

a. Each day, the student needs to set aside two hours in the morning for the Course. She will study the course from Monday to Saturday and Sunday will be a Lazy Awareness Day. The same schedule will be followed in the next six days.

b. For these two hours in the morning, there will be Study Material for Contemplation, a Writing Assignment and a Meditation Mantra.

c. There is a Practical Awareness Assignment for the day that one will practice throughout the day.

d. Meditation Mantra is a statement that helps the student experience freedom. All Mantras have been revealed to the Founder Teacher. They are extremely powerful statements, when practiced sincerely. These Mantras need to be practiced for half an hour while contemplating upon their profound significance.

e. The student needs to write her thoughts on the Writing Assignment in at least four hundred words. This assignment needs to be sent to the teacher daily.

f. The student will also need to incorporate the Practical Awareness Assignment in her daily routine. Most of these assignments will require that she remains aware of the mental turmoil and practice the morning learning throughout the day. There will be an Awareness Log to be filled every hour on most of the days.

g. In the evening, she will do a Self-Assessment for the day and work through the Self- Assessment Log. This Log needs to be sent to the Z Meditation Teacher along with any questions and doubts for clarification.

h. Sunday will be lived in Lazy Awareness and Causeless Joy. There will just be the morning contemplation material. You will be studying the laws of peace that day. You will not be doing any other assignments. You will be spending the day in awareness and joy.

i. At the end of the course on the fourteenth day, there will be a Laziness Test. It is necessary to pass in this test to get the Z Meditation Online Course Certificate.

j. After having done the Z Meditation Online Course, the students will start living their lives with shining awareness and love. They will have learnt to see things in a very refreshing perspective. It will be necessary to practice meditation daily for the shine to sustain. If there are any problems that they will not be able to solve by themselves, there will be unconditioned loving help available from the teacher.

A very important insight is gained that meditation is just not a daily routine. It is a way of life. You learn how to integrate this knowledge with your real life. You become a different person in your relationships when you are able to live up to the knowledge gained.

After the first two levels of learning, you qualify for the third level in which you get the Knowledge of the Eternal Self. This is the most subtle of learning possible for the human mind as you are embarking on a journey of transcending the mind. You need to be ready for this knowledge and it is only after the first two levels that a decision is taken as to who would go for the last level. The third level of learning is not offered online. You will need to do the silent retreat for that.
